PRETTY IN PINK

Four Rosé Wines · From Corsica to Beaujolais

01 Terra Vecchia GR20 Rosé

IGP Île de Beauté · Corsica, France · Niellucciu & Sciaccarellu

◆ Named for Europe’s most demanding hiking trail — and it earns it. Pale salmon-copper in the glass with a nose of red rhubarb, white peach and green pear edged with white pepper. This is what a Corsican morning smells like.

◆ On the palate the freshness hits immediately: clean, precise acidity built on a mineral backbone, with citrus and spiced white pepper weaving through the mid-palate.

◆ A lick of ginger on the finish keeps it vivacious and alive. Sauvage by name, sauvage by nature — and honestly one of the most characterful rosés in this pack.

02
Umathum Rosa Rosé Saignée

Burgenland, Austria · Zweigelt, Sankt Laurent & Blaufränkisch · Biodynamic

◆ Made by the traditional saignée method — red grapes macerated on their skins before fermentation to pull colour, aroma and soft tannin from the berries. The result is a rosé with genuine depth and a red-wine backbone.

◆ Brilliant raspberry red in the glass, with raspberries, cherries and red currants on the nose. Fruity and juicy on the palate with impressions of gooseberry and medium acidity that keeps it fresh.

◆ This is not a delicate summer sipping rosé — it has structure, character and the kind of finish that makes you reach for another glass. Farmed biodynamically from vines up to 45 years old.

03
Diwald Zweigelt Rosé

Wagram, Austria · Zweigelt & Pinot Noir · Organic since 1976

◆ Diwald set out to make a serious rosé, not sugar water — and they’ve delivered. Part saignée, part whole-bunch pressed from cooler sites, with spontaneous fermentation in tank. Zweigelt gives the fruit, Pinot Noir gives the tension.

◆ Abundant cherry on the nose and palate with crisp acidity and a body that actually shows up — this is a rosé with enough going on to hold its own at the dinner table, not just the aperitivo hour.

◆ One of Austria’s oldest organic wine estates, farming without chemicals since 1976. The fact that it drinks this well is not an accident.

04
Croifolie Rosé Labise

AOP Beaujolais-Villages · Beaujolais, France · 100% Gamay · Guide Hachette ★ 2024

◆ Four generations of the same family farming 6 hectares in Salles-Arbuissonnas — Gamay from clay-granitic soils, harvested by hand and aged on fine lees for 2–3 months before bottling.

◆ Shiny with golden-pink highlights in the glass, fruity and aromatic on the nose, and tender on the palate with a lovely acidity-to-fruit balance that makes it dangerously easy to drink.

◆ Five consecutive Guide Hachette stars across five vintages. That’s not luck — that’s consistency. A go-everywhere, please-everyone rosé from one of Beaujolais’ most reliable small estates.

Serve chilled · 8–12°C · Best enjoyed in good company
