241 cases produced Strawberry, Raspberry, Orange Peel Vineyard: Syrah from The Vineyards at Marsh Creek (Contra Costa) – harvested 5.46 tons on 8/6/21 Vintage: A dry winter with below-average rainfall and a cool start to spring kept the vines dormant late into March. The spring months stayed dry and cool, slowing shoot growth and contributing to low yields and small berries. Once under full canopy later in the season, the fruit developed evenly with concentrated flavor, color and texture. Harvest began on August 6th with favorable, temperate weather throughout the picking season. Cellar: 100% whole cluster press after foot treading and 2-hours of skin contact.
