The bunches and berries are small. Pinot likes the continental climate and clay- limestone soils. It produces high quality red wines combining finesse, power, intensity and aromatic complexity. It stores sugar

well. Its acidity is sometimes a little low when fully ripe. Its colour is not very intense but holds up well with age.

Fresh, supple and easy to drink, with the same palette as the nose plus some spicy notes. Fine tannins.

Pair with cheese, meats with a sauce, ossa bucco, pork chops.
